I design tutorials as immersive, end-to-end learning experiences that show how a product is used in real production scenarios, not just how individual features work in isolation. Instead of abstract examples, the tutorial is built around a concrete use case with realistic data, roles, and system interactions, so users can see what the product looks like in practice.
In the sample tutorial, a complete manufacturing automation flow is demonstrated—from ERP order creation, through scheduling and execution, to shop-floor operations and monitoring. Diagrams and step-by-step procedures help users connect concepts to actual system behavior, while realistic names, messages, and parameters make the experience feel close to real-world usage rather than a simplified demo.
I see tutorials as a complement to application help. While application help is organized by features and reference topics, tutorials focus on workflows and outcomes, helping users build confidence and intuition. They are especially valuable for onboarding new users, enabling them to move from “understanding features” to “successfully running a process” in a controlled, guided way.
